Mike McCreary Print E-mail

Mike McCreary began his officiating career in the Guelph Minor Hockey Referees Association, and has since become a member of the USA Hockey Junior Officiating Development Program. Mike was selected for both the 2006 and 2007 USHL All Star Games, as well as game seven of the 2007-2008 USHL championship series. Mike will be officiating in the Central Hockey League during the 2008-2009 hockey season.

Dennis LaRue has been in the NHL since 1989 and is considered the top American-born referee. His career includes some 600 NHL regular season and 19 Stanley Cup games; three Olympic assignments in 2006, 2002, and 1988; and both the 1986 World Championship and World U20 Championship. LaRue resides in the Spokane, Washington area and is engaged to be married this summer.

Ken Daniels has spent most of his life around the hockey rink - first as a player, then as an official, and now as a television announcer/commentator. He has served as the voice of the Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Net Detroit for eight seasons and also does local and regional college hockey broadcasts. Prior to coming to Detroit, Daniels worked in his hometown of Toronto for CBC's Hockey Night in Canada program.

Ken Cox will retire Tuesday evening after skating a MasterCard Memorial Cup game between the Ottawa 67’s and Rimouski Océanic. The game will marks the end of his career which has spanned 25 years in the OHL. A former player in his native northern Ontario, Ken works as a firefighter just outside Toronto in Brampton.
