Calgary, AB -- The Western Hockey League has announced it will be conducting an Officiating Development Camp to assist with the development and recruitment of WHL Officials.

The 2009 WHL Officiating Development Camp will be held in Calgary, Alberta, from June 26th - 29th, and will feature classroom sessions, instructional on-ice sessions, and game situations.

The camp is designed to assist in the personal development of all officials in attendance, to evaluate prospect WHL officials in game situations, and to assist current WHL officials in accelerating their development.
