ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Wednesday the following front office awards and the Officiating Staff Member of the Year based on the contributions that the individuals made to their respective team and the league during the 2008-09 season.

Executive of the Year- Michael Franke, Fort Wayne Komets

General Manager of the Year- Tim Taylor, Muskegon Lumberjacks

Public Relations Director of the Year- Mike Modugno, Kalamazoo Wings

Broadcaster of the Year- Mike Modugno, Kalamazoo Wings

Officiating Staff Member of the Year- Bob Langdon

The IHL Board of Governors selected the Executive of the Year. This award will be presented to Mr. Franke on Saturday, April 11th. Governors and general managers selected the General Manager of the Year. This award will be presented to Mr. Taylor on Saturday, April 11th. Public relations directors and broadcasters selected the Public Relations Director of the Year and Broadcaster of the Year. The Public Relations Director and Broadcaster awards will be presented to Mr. Modugno on Friday, April 10th.

The Officiating Staff Member of the Year was selected by team head coaches, general managers and team captains. This award will be presented to Mr. Langdon on a date yet to be determined.
