Many people would not think that being a hockey official is a dream job, but for Manitoban Ryan Galloway working as an NHL linesman is a dream come true. This season is Galloway's 8th in the league and he says he is always working on developing his skills.

As a twelve year old, Galloway began reffing hockey in return for a pizza pop, and a coke. He shares it grew from there, and by the time he was 17 other officials began telling him he had real potential. He dreamt of one day working in the NHL, and was hired as a linesman at the age of 30.
