Philadelphia Officiating Camp to take place July 31st Print E-mail

The Philadelphia Officiating Camp will take place on July 31, at the Face-Off Circle Twin Rinks in Warminster, PA. Registration is underway and enrollment is limited. It is recommended that you register early to insure your spot. Registrations received after July 15, will be accepted, as space is available.

The camp will provide the official with instruction that is currently being used at the various National, International and Professional Training Camps across North America.

Camp Features:

• Over 10 hours of Instruction time (new)
• 6+ hours of on-ice instruction
• 3+ hours of power skating instruction (new)
• 2010 Guest Speakers: Paul Devorski- NHL & Vancouver Olympics Referee Dave Brown- NCAA Official-Frozen Four Linesman Chris Allman-USA Hockey Officiating Program Gene Binda- EJHL Director of Officiating Ian Walsh-NHL Referee Joe Ernst-ECHL Director of Officiating David Banfield-NHL Referee More Guest Speakers will be added soon…..

• 2010 Camp Instructors will be announced soon….
• Various leagues will scout the camp, looking for prospects for their staffs for the 2010-11 seasons. Leagues that will be in attendance: ECHL, AHL, NHL, SPHL, ECHOA, MAHOA, USA Hockey Junior Development Program, ECAC/NCAA, Eastern Junior Hockey League.
• Video Review of penalties & various situations.
• Post-Camp Saturday party with Gifts & Door prizes
